The challenge
McCormick Heating & Cooling came to me with several issues that were limiting growth. After more than 15 years in business, their lead flow was uneven and depended too much on referrals. During slower seasons, bookings dropped sharply, and competitors held top spots on Google, leaving McCormick almost unseen online.
Their website added to the problem. It had weak keyword targeting, no clear service pages, and a layout that didn’t guide visitors toward taking action. Bounce rates were high, calls to action were weak, and the branding felt dated. They ended the previous year with only 60 service requests.
They were missing strong SEO opportunities for searches like “Greeley furnace repair.” The site’s content felt generic and didn’t match the terms customers used when searching for HVAC help. Credibility was limited, with stock photos, few reviews, and no real brand personality to build trust.
They also lacked seasonal ad campaigns and had limited social media presence, which held back expansion. With four trucks and a small team, McCormick needed a complete digital marketing plan that lifted visibility, built trust, and created room to grow.
