RAFZ is a Swedish furniture brand that offers companies and individuals an affordable and eco-friendly way to buy and sell used furniture. With expertise in logistics, design, and sustainability, RAFZ provides tailored solutions for buying, sourcing, and furnishing office spaces or optimizing existing layouts to meet client needs.
RAFZ encountered significant issues with its previous website, built on a custom theme heavily reliant on plugins for essential functions. This resulted in an excessive load time of over 15 seconds, severely affecting sales due to cart abandonment. To resolve these issues, I decided to rebuild the site from the ground up, retaining all essential features. Additionally, RAFZ required the development of an API to seamlessly connect their store with place2place for comprehensive product listings.
In the development phase, I preserved the original design, transferring it to a streamlined theme that eliminated the dependency on plugins for WooCommerce functionalities. I implemented efficient code to incorporate desired features, including a custom repaint option and an upgraded homepage that better showcases RAFZ’s diverse products and categories.
