Trust Through Design: Reinforcing IECA’s Leadership in Education

The Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), founded in 1976, is a global professional body for seasoned independent educational consultants. Based near Washington, DC, IECA hosts training programs, workshops, and webinars, and publishes a directory of its members. The association provides guidance on school selection for students and families and upholds high ethical and business standards within the profession.

When I built the website for IECA, I aimed to create a space that would make visitors feel secure and confident. IECA is a leader in educational consulting, so the site needed to convey its expertise and reliability. Parents and students seeking advice should find comfort and all the necessary information.

The website also features a secure member directory. This is a crucial part of the site because it lets users easily find and connect with educational consultants. I ensured this directory was user-friendly and met strict security requirements. In this way, consultants can safely offer their services, and those needing advice can find trustworthy help.

I created a specialized strategy to boost the brand’s online presence, aiming to surpass competitors in search rankings. I focused heavily on SEO, compelling content, and intuitive website design. I reinforced these efforts with focused pay-per-click (PPC) and social media advertising.
